FALSE RESET? - XDM ELITE OSP 9MM THREADED BARREL

Greetings fellow armory life pals, got a question for the group.

I recently acquired the XDM ELITE OSP TACTICAL THREADED 9MM....
I have not ran ANY rounds thru it yet but upon dry firing and checking the trigger reset, 100% of the time I'm getting a quick false reset about half way to the actual reset of the trigger.

A. Is this normal for this model?
B. Does this go away with time / rounds put thru the firearm?

I have the XDm Elite 3.8. I notice a false reset when dry firing as well. I believe this occurs when the slide is racked with less force when re-racking between shots. Try giving the slide a good hard rack and you will probably not experience the false reset. This seems to work for me. Better yet, just take it out and run some rounds through it. I do not experience false resets with live firing.
