One would hope so. Governor Polis (2nd term, term-limited) has been unclear on whether he would sign or veto it. He has vetoed other gun bans in the recent past. He is a Democrat, but was a member of a conservative Libertarian caucus as a Dem before being elected.

The vote in the Senate is today - both chambers in Colorado are Democrat-controlled.

Ironically, the law does not ban pistols unless they are gas operated, so Glocks which can be converted with "switches" - would still be legal. Switches are of course already illegal once installed. Pistols are, per most gun bans groups, used in 95%+ of mass shootings.

“Switches” are grossly illegal uninstalled as well; it’s considered a machine gun, and possession is a violation of NFA (constructive intent).

Gotta be amazed at the stupidity of some folks. I don’t care how “blunted” a knife may be, a few minutes with a grinders will resolve that problem. I guess they’ll next have a “grinder control” program to eliminate that threat🙄
 
When I was assigned in England one of our agent's house was burglarized by a cat burglar. His wallet and keys to his car were stolen. I worked with the constabulary on it who told me residential burglaries had increased because of the requirement for the key fob to be present for the car to start. Car thieves have to go in the house to get the key fob. This resulted in a discussion of what would happen to a cat burglar at my house in the U.S. My U.K. friends informed me that in the U.K. you are expected to run away before using deadly force, even in your own home. At the same time liberals were trying to get laws on the books prohibiting possession of knives. What is left out of the discussion is who the people are who are running around stabbing people. A lot of the violent offenders are immigrants in addition to local thugs.
