i thought of this.....

Like the rest of you I don't do social media, but a couple of the names you mentioned I have heard of.
I can't really make an informed opinion on influencers since I have no experience with them, but I can say that women on social media inspiring and influencing other women to get into the shooting sports or train to protect themselves certainly is a good thing.

I really like Julie Golob, and agree Lena Miculek is great. I think both of these women were champion shooters first, then became manufacture’s reps then became “influencers.” I am not familiar with any of the other women mentioned, but have watched some of She Equips Herself YouTube videos. I don’t do Instagram either, but my granddaughter does. Most of us on this forum are men I believe, and some are old farts like me. That being said, I understand there are quite a few relatively new gun owners these days, and a lot of those are women. So having these women “influencers” (a new term I think is a little presumptuous) is a good thing to help some of these new folks. I just hope the information they provide is solid. Women are more vulnerable than men so being able to protect themselves is even more important.

I follow Lena and Julie on Instrgram. There are also several other awesome women I follow.
Gabby Franco - she was on Top Shot, Beth Walker, Toni McBide - female police officer and competitive shooter - she's amazing. Jessie Harrison, Dania Vizzi, and probably a few more.

But these are all real deal shooters

Beth Walker doesn't shoot much anymore. She's all about political activism nowadays.

These people are stars in a world where people never heard of a "message board." But this right here is an early form of social media. We're the ones who are a few steps behind. But this is how it all started. Then came MySpace>>>>>>>>>>>>>Instagram.
