First Look: Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F Comp

Hello all. Nice to see engagement, pun intended.
Whilst I carry MIL-SPEC 45 and a SA V10, my primary. I would caution on blowback from a ported barrel. Especially if you train from a rapid draw to discharge. You'll need to extend your forearm outside of the blowback prior to discharge. Whilst probably known to you expexts. Training Training Training will/should overcome most issues.

Has anyone bought & mounted 1 of the new(er) Sig Romeo X Enclosed Pro optics to their Echelon? If so, how do you like it? Do you think it's nice enough to justify the $530 price tag it has VS the EPS? Also, for those of you running the new(er) Streamlight TLR-7XHL, what brand of kydex OWB holster are you using for it? Maybe I'm missing them, or just haven't found the correct brand/model that fits that light yet. But I'd like for know what holster y'all have e been using for this particular combo of gun & light combo.
I haven't yet but am very interested in the Romeo X Enclosed, both the Pro and Compact but have been waiting to see if users report early production problems.

I’m looking at buying one of these. Watched the Hickok45 review, watched Colion Noir’s review (I think he wanted to make love to it at the end, it was awkward, but he really liked it. I am as I type this watching a review from the Honest Outlaw (
) and he abuses this thing and comes out with a positive review. My LGS is offering a really nice package with the Echelon and 5 mags, and also offers the Hellcat with 5 mags. I am debating between these 2. Probably gonna depend upon whether the Hellcat has an extended mag as I have bigger hands and I HATE having my pickie finger hanging off the end of the grip.

Bought it yesterday and took it for a test drive today. Gotta say I’m really happy with it. I ran 200 rounds through it today and not 1 misfire/misfeed. My rounds were landing primarily in the mid to upper chest of the human silhouette target. I was looking at 1 different pistol, and was considering a Ruger GP100 wheel gun. Glad I made the decision to get the Echelon. I would recommend it to anyone.
