First Saint Victor 9mm Match

And on a different note, I looked up the match scores, and I was in the bottom quarter of the scoring, but only for time.
My hits were in the upper bracket, but what killed me was my time.
Either way I'm still happy, but the agility, and speed of movement just aren't there like they used to be. I might get some of it back, but the running is overwith lol.
Doing it is better than not. Recovering from a surgery or getting older?

Not so much age, but mileage. I've had both hips replaced in the last two years, the right side March of 22, (the worst of the two), and the left March of this year.
Turned out to be an injury I didn't know I had from boot camp.
Good thing is that I'm repaired, but there are a few things I can't do anymore. Like running, squatting, and a few other things are iffy......
I'll replace running with a bicycle, leg work will have to be a careful choosing. The biggest restriction is the lack of range of movement with the new hardware. But, I've been where it's worse, and I'm happy being better, even with the restrictions.
Hell, I'm only 45............

My matching set of Titanium hardware, just shy of Forty thousand dollars worth of replacement joints.

I 4 fusions from c2-c6 on the front side (behind my throat) back on 4/5/15 that didn't fix anything, but did deplete a good chunk of my band account. The top plate is loose on 1 side where the plate pulled loose from the screw. Unfortunately, this is the hand I was delt. Later on the Doc that did the surgery went to jail on a charge that was with a minor. Not sure what the charge was exactly?

Ouch! Do what you can to recover, it takes time. I've got a 6" titanium plate and 6 screws permanently in my right forearm, so I somewhat understand the restricted range of movement. Oh and my limit of shooting large magnum handguns 😆.

@TEXASforLIFE no need to frown Bub, one of these days I'll tell everyone the story of it, but I promise you, I've seen and felt the worst there is, I'm worlds better than I was in 20 and early 21 before I knew what was actually wrong.

If someone were to say "I'm gunna put you in a world of hurt", I'd just laugh and say "I'm already there"! BTW, I'm 58 next week and been having neck issues for 15 years with no end in sight?

In addition to the high grade replacement parts, I'm also the ONLY one in my family with Rheumatoid arthritis, so on top of the hips, I'm also the only one in three living generations of the family that's got it.
If only I played the lottery and was so lucky lol.
But, it won't make me quit......

Same here! Just gotta keep going! If all the kids were gone from the house and lot less responsibility, I'd be unsure on what to do? I know it could always be worse and I've had many of those worse days. I might wish to be like those who are in better shape, but thankful I'm not 1 of those that are in worse shape than I!
