First Shots: Springfield Armory Ronin Operator 10mm

I have the 10mm and I am having some issues with jams on the first feed with a new magazine. Using 180 grain Federal FMJ. The slide will not go into battery until I clear the jam. The gun has less than 100 rounds through it. Otherwise it is a “smooth operator” lol. Thanks

Maybe a dumb ques, but does it do the same with a used mag?
I had some issues out of the blue with my .45 Ronin. Turned out a dose of medicine consisting of 2 drops of Lucas gun oil down the disconnector hole solved the whole thing (long story, but I’d got a bit happy with the “don’t over lubricate” warning stuff I was reading about in the last year or so. Went back to my usual routine and haven’t had a prob since...)

The mags are new, but I meant the first round of the mag. Thinking it might be that I am fitting 9 rounds in the 8 round mag

It’s possible...

I just picked up my Ronin 10mm last week. I am having similar issues where the cartridge is not feeding into chamber properly and I have to push up on the back of the round to chamber and then it comes back out. I've tried 3 different brass cased ammo (Magtech, Federal and Blazer) and they all have similar issues. Did you find a solution with your troubles?
