Thanks, forgot to post the holster I have to carry it also. I consider myself a young guy, I’m 39, but I always had a thing for classic firearms and to one day use one as a carry gun.

I have a few old school's from Springfield. Unfortunately don't have a high-power. The SA-35 looks great and just about all I've read and seen on YouTube, I know I want one. Congratulations on the fine pistol.

Thanks, and the good part is, it didn’t break the bank.

The early ones with serial under #6000 had issues, but after #6000 they were corrected, only thing I picked up for mine was an extra recoil spring, I just got one for a HP, same springs

Been there and done that. Always wanted a 1911 till about 10 years ago. Couldn't afford a Wilson or high end. Got the older Springfield TRP somewhere halfway... Still more than I wanted to spend. Worth every penny.

I had a brand new late model SA-35 and had nothing but trouble even after being sent back to SA for a fix.

Traded it.

I had a brand new late model SA-35 and had nothing but trouble even after being sent back to SA for a fix.

Traded it.

Hopefully this one continues to run. Put a couple rounds through it and so far it’s been good to go.

No, I just like to keep a spare on all my pistols, just a habit I have had for over 40 years, lol
