ford to make hybrid suv's rather than all electric

Ford is currently building a huge new factory not far from Memphis. They call it Blue Oval City because it will employ basically a small city full of workers.
Its purpose is to build electric pick-ups. I don't think that's gonna happen. I believe that before its finished it will be converted to some sort of hybrid or even regular gas vehicles. Either that or they end up scraping it all together. :rolleyes:
The technology for EVs just isn't here yet and public opinion is waning.
 
I'm glad to see EV's falling on their face. I look at them as an extreme danger to our liberty as well as bad technology. When Obama was running the only thing on his platform that I agreed with was converting the national fleet over to CNG -once he was elected that wasn't ever brought up again, as far as I'm aware. I drove CNG cars for work quite a few years and it's a viable technology. I'm even more interested in the new tech Toyota is pioneering for hydrogen engines.

we need to tell that to the dumbos in city, state, and federal gooberments, who are hell bent on making 2035 no more NEW gasoline powered vehicles.

dumbass Commifornia has so much BS going on with thier power grid and brown outs and orders to NOT use electricity during many hours, whats a motorist supposed to do, with an electric car.????

Commiformia needs to get thier shite together before demanding no more gasoline cars, that many states are following.>!!!!

Since when has the climate not changed? Its the natural order of things.
Humans may have contributed to climate change, but we didn't cause it and we sure as Hell can't stop it. We have to either adapt or die.
Most people have the completely wrong attitude towards the Earth. This is NOT our planet. We don't own it. The planet owns us. While we may be the dominate species, we are just one of the many thousands of species that live on this rock. If it suited her purpose, Mama Gaia would wipe us out without a second thought.
