I'm fairly knowledgeable on phones but never felt the need for an iPhone although I've had a great experience with Mac computers and tablets for many years now. My Mrs. and me have always had flip phones as we have no need to stream video, play games, surf the net, etc. on the phone although our current 4G flips can do that. I occasionally text with mine but the Mrs. never does. For us, the small size of the flips are better for our uses and I like the smaller size on my belt, leaving me ample room for my EDC's and accessories. Our children and grandchildren tease us for this but I always ask them how they're going to carry the 55" iPhone when it's released. I did the update on my MacBook Pro and the Mrs.'s iPad and no problems popped up. Never had a problem with updates. :)

I'm awaiting the "boombox" sized phones, but then again iPad has that capability.
