G9 EHP ammo

One of my friends got ahold of some G9 9mm ammo and was telling me it has almost rifle like ballistics in a pistol cartridge. The rounds are solid copper and they’re supposed to be high velocity. Anyone have any experience with them in any caliber? I’d honestly never even heard of G9 until my friend showed me Hellcat 9mm that was loaded up with 13 of them.

From the small amount of info it looks like they’re a new company relatively speaking. Found some YouTube videos of the 9mm rounds being fired thru windshields on a pretty flat trajectory and hitting targets pretty accurately in the vehicle. The speed of the 9mm round was something like 1500 FPS with an 80 grain bullet.

Being solid it wont fly apart due too higher velocity.

That’s what the information I read seemed to be stating. I wonder how that would serve as a personal defense round? Seems like it would hit very hard at close range.

Latest iteration of “high-speed, lightweight, game-changing wünderbullet”...that is shown to be more hype than performance.

I'll stick with proven JHP's for half the cost.

Actually, it does the opposite.

Lightweight bullets run out of steam fast; don’t have momentum.
