since day one when the Glock 17 was introduced, I said if Glock will make it with metal mags it will get a couple more round in it, then they had to metal lined the mag so they wouldn't span loaded, right there they should have go metal mags, but what do I know.
Forgive me replying to an old post, but I wondered if some of you early G43 owners bought the G48 so that you can, if the need arises, take the slide from the G43 and put it on the frame of the G48 and viola, you now have a G43X.
I’m not suggesting it’s a super selling point because while doing so you went from 2 guns to 1, but I like knowing that option exists if you wanted an EDC with more capacity than the G43, and less length than the G48.
and btw, I don’t (yet) own any Glocks, so I have no strong opinions on them, just thought this was kinda cool.
