Glock Commercial

It's not about fashion it's about safety.

I've never so much seen it with a horse but I've known people who have got their finger stuck in machinery because of jewelry and it ripped finger right off
Yah, I've heard of that but Thank God never saw it happen.

I don't wear any rings myself. When I first started shooting, I discovered that my class ring was screwing up the checkering on my handguns. I've told The Lovely Mrs. Snake that I don't wear my wedding band because "It attracts the wrong kind of women." I get zero argument from her on that. ;)

Safety videos in the military scared the bejeezus out of most of us. Working around aircraft I never wore any kind of jewelry except a watch with a leather strap. It wasn't until many year after I separated from the military that I started wearing the odd ring or bracelet. Now I work in manufacturing. I wear my wedding ring and my grandmother's wedding ring, but I wear gloves all day because I handle wood and fiberglass. The military made me very conscious of safety with regard to long hair and jewelry.
