My G42 has been perfect, never an issue and a soft shooter
I picked up my Glock 42 when it was released (another Blue Label impulse buy). I love that little gun, and even carried it as my EDC for awhile. I've always felt that the G42 doesn't get the attention it deserves. While tiny .380 ACP guns are great for deep-concealment or pocket-carry, they are inherently "snappy" due to their size and often have miniscule sights. The G42 has usable sights, and lets shooters take advantage of the benefits of the .380 ACP cartridge by being large enough to feel the reduced recoil. I carried my G42 with a +1 mag extension, and never felt under-armed. I would probably still be carrying my G42 if Sig Sauer never changed the EDC world by starting the ultra-concealable double-stack wonder 9mm movement. My G42 has been perfect, never an issue and a soft shooter
Thanks. Look into it. Kinda like the stile of their guns.Glock does make a .380, G42….FYI
If you have figured it out already I like Glock. Lets just say I own a few in different calibers. Almost have the complete collection! Nothing against Springfield but did I mention I like Glocks.Correction, I don’t own a 43, I hate when I transpose numbers….I do have a G34View attachment 27877
Yep, Glocks here also, actually Glock 26 was the first polymer gun I got, then like rabbits, they seem to multiplyIf you have figured it out already I like Glock. The only 2 I don't have are in 380acp and 22lr.If you have figured it out already I like Glock. Lets just say I own a few in different calibers. Almost have the complete collection! Nothing against Springfield but did I mention I like Glocks.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend picking up a few Shield Arms 15-round mags for the Glock 48 (if allowed in your state). They are difficult to load to capacity at first, but mine have been 100% reliable so far. Brownells often sells 3-packs for about $35-$40 per mag. Since you qualify for Blue Label purchases, you may qualify for a LEO discount if you buy the mags directly from the Shield Arms website.Well, since I ordered a blue label glock online I just got the ok that I passed with flying colors and my gun has been shipped. I had to send them copy of my retired military id as proof that I was qualified to purchase blue label. I ordered from GT Distributers somewhere in Texas. Just heard from FEDEX gun will be delivered to my FFL on Monday. If all works out this G48 will be my CCW and switch off between the Hellfire that I carry now.
Yeah me too. Got shipping e-mail Friday.Me too. I decided to quit drooling and pulled the trigger. It’s ordered.
I've been wanting thus for my G48 but there are so many mixed results I've read about. If you haven't already, I highly recommend picking up a few Shield Arms 15-round mags for the Glock 48 (if allowed in your state). The metal Shield Arms mags can tear up your polymer mag release if you're firing a lot of rounds. Shield Arms also sells a metal mag release that only takes a few minutes to install. The Shield Arms website often sells the mag release in bundles with the magazine. Enjoy the new gun.
Please be a responsible gun owner and keep them separate so they can’t breed uncontrollably.Yep, Glocks here also, actually Glock 26 was the first polymer gun I got, then like rabbits, they seem to multiply
