Glocks…Imperfection

@Annihilator is 100% correct.
Glocks are ultimate perfection.

There’s nothing wrong with Glocks.

That being said, they are highly overrated.
I'm not an avid pistol shooter nor do I know a whole lot or even much about todays modern Auto loading pistols. I've had my Glock 20 a long time but I don't shoot it as often as I probably should. Or any of my other pistols for that matter. Probably 500 rounds per pistlol per year. Im much more familiar with rifle shooting. With all due respect. I'm not being cocky. I seriously don't know. That's why I'm asking. Why are they or wut makes them overrated?

It more or less is a long standing joke between Anni, myself and a few others.

A Glocks “cant angle” makes them different. They were touted as the wonder weapon when they first came out long ago.

They are not the end-all, be-all platform that their fanboys claim them to be.

First off, they are not the first polymer striker-fired pistol (see: HK VP70); second, they have been surpassed in both ergonomics and function by several designs (Sig P320, Walther PPQ, HK VP9, et al).

Glocks are the pinnacle of 1980’s handgun technology…but the never progressed beyond that.

Except changing the generations every so often with minor changes

I like shooting them when I do shoot them, but to be honest neither of my Glock's feel as they have as comfortable grips as my 1911's. I installed one of the sizing grip straps on my G 17 so it would resemble the same size grip as my G 20. I'm hoping it helps when going from one to the other when shooting them at the range. Thoughts on the grip sizing straps anyone? Any of you avid pistol guys think Im on the right track with that?

But still a very capable platform though right?
