At what distance do you practice your defensive use of a firearm drills?
Same, can squeeze out an extra 50 yards if needed. Basically the length of the range on the property.Up too 100 yards!
My 9mm is tougher too get there, but the sig on up works great. I developed some 90 +p loads for the 9 and not sure on velocity.Same, can squeeze out an extra 50 yards if needed. Basically the length of the range on the property.
Same here. The outdoor range can be an extremely busy place and I tend to shy away from it.In general 5-25 yards. Most of my shooting is done at an indoor range.
It starts too make you feel like a silhouette shooter.Same, can squeeze out an extra 50 yards if needed. Basically the length of the range on the property.
Like 80 yards in the other post? With my carry arms (SIG, 40, 45) I practice from 6 to 21 feet (22-7yds, 1.8-6.4m). I believe now I will start pushing out further. I have been told many times by many knowledgeable folks that most confrontations are from 6 to 18 feet. That may very well be true, but we also need to be able to reach out a bit further, as has been aptly demonstrated.
