Got the family out of the house for a bit yesterday. Went a couple miles down the road and bank fished at the same location the grandson and I launched our kayaks last time. Air temp was around 61º, with a bit of a chill in a steady breeze, but the sun was out so that helped. My wife and youngest grandson skunked, and the older grandson (13) caught about 4 Bluegill. I only had one bite, and that was towards the end after switching to my go-to bait, which is a black Zoom Trick Worm, Texas-rigged on a 3/0 EWG hook, and an 1/8oz bullet weight. Standing at the end of the boat ramp at water's edge, I tossed up under some trees close to the bank, with water probably only 2' deep. Success!
