Most everyone does catch and release here for Bass. Meat fish tend to be Crappie and Catfish. I'm on the Gulf and Redfish, flounder and speckled sea trout are favorites here. This is a five pounder I caught a couple of weeks ago.

On my last fishing trip, I caught a pikeperch that took me ten feet to the right and left. I didn't want to let it go into the reeds for fear of tearing the line and tackle. Well, that combination didn't let me down. I caught a three foot pikeperch, which my wife made a very rich soup of. You know, it's only this time that I got so lucky. Most of the time, I catch small pikeperch smaller than a woman's palm and throw them back into the water. That's why I want to go to another lake with my family this year to enjoy successful fishing there.
