Gonna try this one of these weekends. The MacRib

I got one of those a few weeks ago at the local McDs because of all the fan-fare about it.

It was OK, but the they put too much BBQ sauce on it.

I favor the DQ Stackburgers now.
They were good when they first came out. Now, they suck. You can make your own with the pre formed "ribs" you can buy in the store. Cook it in a frying pan with onions, then add Bullseye Barbecue sauce. Let it simmer for a bit. When done, put it on a hoagie roll with pickles, and there is your McRib. And they want $20 hr to make a subpar sandwich.

that's the thing right there...the prices.

i can, you can, we all can, get better sammiches at a local deli, with the meats stacked so high, you need a sawzall to cut thru it.

or nearly anyone here can make thier own sammiches for way less that a so-called "fast food" eatery.

i don't mind it one bit at all when i spend $15.00 to $18.00 dollars for a large sammich at a local delil as the wife and i split it, bringing the cost way down, and better, fresher ingredients, and taste

sometimes too, the wife and i split a half with each other, then the other half is saved for later that day or the next.

in other words, if the sammich is 18" long, and cut in half, that is 9" each half.......well we cut that 9" half again into 2-nearly 4"inch sammiches.....at our ages, we can live on the smaller size, and have left overs. cuz we will also have some chips, or Fritos on the side.

ya can't do that with any fast food sammich, and THAT sammich taste as good the next day.
