Got My First Shotgun

Two weeks ago, at a friend's BBQ in Corpus Christi, TX. Doing the sniff test. Do my baby blue eyes make me a handsome rascal? lol

Here's my first shotgun I just purchased, The Mossberg 590 Retrograde 18.5" Barrel. I love the look of it and I researched different shotguns for the price and Mossberg was always recommended. It may seem old but it pairs with my Springfield 1911 pretty well, got the WWI vibes to it.

On a funny note, I showed my wife this setup Mossberg with the 1911....she threw a bottle of mustard at me! Must be her German heritage taking over. :unsure:
As I continue to immerse myself in retirement this thread brought back some great memories, I spent 20 years in manufacturing firearms with the last 5 years working for O.F. Mossberg & Sons in the position of Engineering Project Manager of new product development.
Congratulations on the purchase of your Mossberg Shotgun, I’m glad to see you chose a gun with a wood stock.
