Yes, I've even talked to some FFL's on how one goes about it, what's required, cost, etc. I was turned off when some told me that the ATF will drop in (sometime unannounced), to check things like having enough parking for customers (I think it's at least 3 parking spaces), checking that you have tag firearms for sale that aren't owned by you (they are strictly for sale to customers), and checking paperwork etc. is in order. It sounded like too many regs to bypass a FFL to make it a benefit, so I'm not really pursuing that anymore. Now a C&R license doesn't have these restrictions, is easier and cheaper to get and most older firearms are eligible. If you go to Classic Firearms and check under their Military Firearms category, you'll see a lot specifying C&R eligible and other sites that may say Collectible eligible, etc.
