Well if Bullitt doesn't do it for you try the French Connection chase.

Yah yah yah, Ronin pays homage to that one too, along with Bullitt and To Live and Die in LA and The Rookie and prolly a few more I'm forgetting.

Hadn't seen that French Connection scene in decades. Dunno if I ever picked up on the fact that the BG there is packing a Colt Gold Cup. Pretty cool!

Also, that scene ends with a finale pretty much right out of Bullitt--Good Guy with a snubby .38 kills the Bad Guy with a .45 1911.
