Hello everyone, I am looking for the best green dot optic for my Hellcat. I currently have the shield optic on my gun, but I want to change it. I appreciate any help you can provide.

A couple of good green dots I can think of that I believe fit the Hellcat without an adapter.

Personally, I favor Holosun but that's just me.

I wouldn’t consider a SwampFox…none of their optics that I’ve seen impressed me.

Don’t know for sure since the only pistol optics I use are Holosun but I have a friend that uses a Swampfox Sentinel and loves it.

I tried a buddy’s rifle with one of their LPVO’s that completely turned me off…

Now that I think about it, I think the Holosun needs an adapter plate for the Hellcat, which if true you should be able to get @ C&H Precision .

Crimson Trace RAD Pro Micro Green Dot might also work for the Hellcat without a plate.

So I have a related question. I have the Hellcat Pro. Purchased the adapter plate from CH Precision. Just purchased the Holosun HE508T-GR optic. The issue? It is too long to fit in the milled space on the slide. The adapter plate is just fine. What model of Holosun will fit in the milled space on the Hellcat Pro?

Just my preference but if it were me, for a Hellcat Pro, I'd go with a 507K-GR X2 (the 407K-GR X2 should fit as well).

Whether your plate will work with either of those depends on which C&H Precision Plate you purchased, looks like there are two for the Hellcat, 1 for the 507K/407K and one for the EPS/EPS Carry.

Thanks for the information. It looks like I have the 508T not the 507k/407K. That must be the issue with the milled footprint being too large to fit. I have the C&H Precision plate for the 507/407.

Glad I could help, IMHO the 507K is an excellent dot and designed for concealment. I have one on my S&W Shield Plus with a C&H Precision plate, works great and doesn't degrade the concealment.
