Gun Buyback

I'd be interested in knowing the ages of the people who participated in that program. Were they elderly folks that can no longer operate/maintain a firearm, or perhaps folks who might need the money, etc, etc.

One thing I've never understood, and that is how can the gov't "buy back" something they didn't initially sell?
Did the ATF do a background check!

Boston does this once in a while. Last time I paid attention to it (that was a while ago) I think they were offering $50 for a long gun and $100 for a handgun in working condition or not. I noticed a few things "substantial" but for the most part, it was all rusty junk.

And to comment on @Keystone19250 post, you cant even buy components to reload without a pistol permit in the sate to the north.

🤔 Being it's Boston I wonder what the folks at the buy-back table would think if people just walked in, set a box of tea on the table, then walked out?

Yes, 149 guns is a joke The population there is 61,493. That's 0.00242% of the population. Think about that...🤔
Close. You forgot to do the X100 for the percentage..... but even at that, it sure is still a joke!!
