It may and I say may pass but will be struck down in court.
Gag.
If you have the means to leave California, you might as well at this point. It's a lost cause, it is politically indistinguishable from Canada when it comes to civil liberties, particularly gun rights.

But please, please, leave your politics behind ...... you know, any of those that helped make Ca what it is today. If you have the means to leave California, you might as well at this point. Amen, joe… I meant to post something similar but never got around to it.But please, please, leave your politics behind ...... you know, any of those that helped make Ca what it is today.
Texas would be in the same delimma if not for vast reservoirs of rural and small city votes.Haha! I think that's what most folks would say javbike ........ Cali is a great place to live, if only not for the "stupid policies". A beautiful state with lots of beautiful beaches, lots of beautiful weather, lots of beautiful drives, lots of beautiful agriculture, all ruined by those 'stupid policies'.
If Cali were governed like Texas, or Arizona, or Florida, or any of probably a couple dozen other conservative states, it would be danged near a paradise. In all seriousness, Cali is a great place for the most part. Unfortunately the state is run/controlled governmentaly by just a few of the bigger, liberal, hot spot metropolitan areas where the populations are a stronghold of liberalism. Much like New York state is governed by the liberal population of NYC. Upstate New York and a vast amount of the rest of the state is beautiful country and reasonably conservative. Similar is Illinois run by the liberal votes in and around Chicago.
Oh well !!!
Exactly what I was trying to say and couldn't agree more. And it's sad that a few highly populated areas can dominate an entire state to the point it has in Cali.Texas would be in the same delimma if not for vast reservoirs of rural and small city votes.
Austin, Dallas, Houston and El Paso are blue cities. San Antonio and Ft Worth purple. But Texas is saved by dozens of small cities such as Waco, Tyler, Lubbock, Midland, Amarillo and rural votes that vote overwhelmingly red.
Whereas California is dominated by two metros, mainly the ten million person LA County, and Cook County dominates Illinois, NYC New York etc.
Unfortunately, a (very) large number of the voters leaving those states are not leaving because they perceive the policies are bad. They are leaving because of the costs of those policies. Cost of living appears to be the #1 cause of moving out.Exactly what I was trying to say and couldn't agree more. And it's sad that a few highly populated areas can dominate an entire state to the point it has in Cali.
And all the more reason to encourage all who chose to move to a state with lesser 'stupid policies' to leave those policies and the politics that caused them behind. Otherwise they would eventually overtake all those "dozens of small cities such as Waco, Tyler, Lubbock, Midland, Amarillo and rural votes that vote overwhelmingly red."
You know JJ we might consider keeping both houses as a rental and move our asses to Nevada ha haHaha! I think that's what most folks would say javbike ........
