Gun control in CA

Last edited by a moderator:

Apparently the CA DOJ shut it down, which is no surprise.

Time to see if it goes to court.

These are the rifles in question for reference.

CA SB906 - All parents of children being enrolled in any public or charter school will be required to report to the school exactly what guns they own, where they are kept, and how their child's access to those guns is monitored.

CA people people are absolutely F-ing crazy.

I'll bet any of you $10 the moron state assembly person who introduced this bill gets re-elected.

The non compliance to this going to get interesting.

There is no aggressive willingness by gun owners in the state to challenge them and as far as any pro 2A liberals, well they might as well be ghosts.

Most of the time its bickering over which featureless grip is better than realizing that maybe that is what the gun control crowd wants. Or how to change a 30 round magazine to a 10 round magazine when to be fair 10 round pmags go at a decent price if someone is already buying ammo and cleaning equipment and stuff.

Where is the noncompliance aggression like how Virginia showed two years ago, and that got watered down real fast.

F Kalifornia.

More lunacy by California.

Plus some threads on Calguns and some posters blame Texas for doing their own things when Democrats have been doing the same as well on immigration.

And some articles.

Gavin Newsom wants to ban gun advertising to minors because of this company and poster lol.

Forget about all those guns being stolen from the daily train robberies.

And that marketing poster is totally irresponsible, I have no issues with children of appropriate age learning how to shoot under the direction of an adult but to market a firearm to children using skulls and bones and pacifier??😡 give me a break.

I can see you thinking it's in poor taste or poor judgement since it will make lefties heads spin, but how is it irresponsible? It's not like it's being advertised in Highlights or on Sesame Street. Kids can't buy guns, it's clearly marketed to moms and dads. I have serious doubts that any kid actually old enough to read would be somehow irresponsibly swayed into evil by a cartoon skull.

The whole "Marketing things to children even though A) they aren't in children's magazines or on TV, B) Children cannot buy them and C) it is a legal ( and constitutionally protected) product" is being exploited by anti-gunners and is a gross violation of 1st amendment rights in an attempt to violate 2nd amendment rights.

I completely understand that many people think it is just giving ammo to anti-gunners and is in poor judgement or even poor taste, but saying it is irresponsible is the same thing as saying that the anti-gunners are right and advertising a product like this, almost certainly in an adult, gun magazine, is going to somehow make little Johnny shoot up a school.

Also what is an appropriate age ? The earlier you teach your kids about guns, gun safety and responsibility the better. I had my own shotgun when I was 8 years old.
I’m glad you had the opportunity to learn about firearms at the age of 8 my comment on appropriate age was about how every child is different in there learning curve and I do believe that the earliest the better. My comment on the marketing poster I stand by and don’t believe I need or have to explain myself to anyone why. ITS MY OPINION.

I’m not demanding an explanation. Just stating my opinion as well.
