Harness/Sling

Greetings all, I am new here and have a new Saint Victor.. I am curious as of the type of harness and best attach for the victor.. I currently run single point but am open to suggestions.. thanks in advance.. have a great day

Welcome and congrats on your purchase!

Nothing wrong with a single point. I personally run a two point since I can "spin" the rifle to my back easily if I need it out of the way.

I am not sure if the victor has an attachment point on the handguard. If it doesnt you can find an aftermarket one.

It is all personal choice about what you want to run. No true right or wrong answer.

Thank you very much and thanks for the info, you are Correct there is no attachment point on the hand guard. I will have to find something that works for me. The attachment point on the “brace “ also won’t except my Harness so I will have to find something..

I run a dual point sling. Converts to single point extremely quick and the dual point option is great if you want to go “traditional” style with a sling.

Word to the warning: single point sling across your chest can slap you in “the goods”. Not fun. Be aware of that. I usually have my rifle in single point slung off to my side held with my hand walking as not to slap yourself

Thanks that’s great advice... don’t need an incident ..lol .. I‘ve ran a dual Point, which converts to a single and like the versatility of it..

I like 2 points. Particularly the Vickers although I recently got a Magpul MS1 and I like it a lot too.
