Has anybody…….

Agreed!

I shoot the cheapest stuff I can find at the range. I mean, I'd even shoot jellybeans out of the gun if I could get them to fire off.

I've seen fmj-loads in higher-use cartridges (aka 9mm, .223, etc.) come down on-line & locally.

Hunting ammo prices have stayed up, but availability is much improved.

My shop has a good supply of .44 mag, range and hunting, but the price has went up in this caliber, now if you want 10mm, S&B 50 round box, $24.99, why can’t other calibers be similar to this price

I’m very happy with S&B 10mm and how it shoots out of my Elite Compact, in fact the gun shoots everything I load in it.

That being said I haven’t tried
“jelly beans” but have been told the JellyBelly brand is a hot load. 🫣🤦‍♂️🤣😂🤣😂😎

I have been hunting 45acp for weeks and usually walk out in disgust over the prices. It doesn't have to be this way. We are being taken advantage of. Hoarders buying everything in sight make it worse. I wish we could just get everyone to stop buying ammo all at once for a month so the warehouses fill up and the prices would come down.

I have been looking for 45ACO since before Christmas. Cannot find it for a reasonable price at all.
I was at Sportsmans Warehouse yesterday. They had a 50 round box for $36 and a $100 box for $71.
I almost bought one 50 rounder just cause I really need the ammo, but I couldn't bring myself to do it

at my LGS, the price of 45 ACP, is just under $30.....

have you tried say the local bait and tackle stores that might also sell guns and ammo?

my local bait/tackle store they make reloaded ammo, and also sell new.

how about "survival stores"?

one that i go to "may be" up to $5.00 more than the larger gun store i frequent.

i still sometimes pay the slightly higher pricing, only so that keeps me as a regular customer and if i need something, the gal there knows me and puts it on order, with out any sort of deposit.

i got that from my late dad. he'd go to like 5 different places to shop, even if just for a loaf of bread. he'd say that way, they get to know him, and one day, if he needed something, he wasn't a stranger.

I just bought a pile of it for $28/box.
About 60 cents a round seems to be the going rate for 45acp ball ammo everywhere I look. I just bought 3 boxes of Federal 230 grain ball for practice for my annual qualification, and it hurt my feelings to pay it, but what are you going to do. My skills are way down because I am not practicing due to the cost of ammo, and it is frustrating. I closed my firearms training business last year due to the cost and unavailability of ammo and I see no relief in sight.

Midway has Speer Lawman 45 ACP for just over $24 /50

Norma Shooting DOT com has 45 ACP for $27.99 (free shipping at $150)
AmmoShopOnline DOT Com has Norma 45ACP on sale for $25.99 / 50 (free shipping at $150)
I have not made a purchase from them, but it looks like they may be the RUAG Ammotec (GECO, Norma, RWS, Rottweil brands) importer. The terms say it owned by RUAG Ammotec.

AbleAmmo in Texas has S&B 45 ACP for $23.49 /50 (I have done business with them before)

My instructor also cancelled all fall classes. Next one is in November.
