I don't know from experience or about this gun in particular, but I have read many accounts of SA sights being a pain in the ass to get off.

Those chinese sight pushers are junk too. i bought one and looked really good and thought i got a good one. i was wrong. stripped the threads out on first use and i didn't put much pressure on it either. chinese metal is soft and crap.

There are certain tools, mainly disposable crap, where Chi-Com from Harbor Freight is ok. Anything important or that I want to keep, nope.

I once bought a set of rotors for my truck from Auto Junk. When I got home and went to put them on you could see ( not feel) a big 'ol 5/8" bolt in the face of it that didn't melt down all the way. That was probably 20 years ago. I have paid significantly more for American steel ever since.

By the way, almost every new car you buy is equipped with rotors from China. When you do brakes for the first time remember that all that shaking you felt wasn't just the pads. Go ahead and throw all those rotors in the trash and spend $400 on new American made rotors.

Auto zone brought me some U joints for a 3/4 ton truck that was chinese, i told the guy these things are going on a truck that does heavy pulling and hauling, i don't want this chinese crap. he said that's all we have. i left. went to advance and got American made ones at same price.

The only things I buy at AZ or O'Reillys or any chain store is things like Alternators or batteries or if it's a car, brake pads. Everything else I go to Napa or a legitimate parts house and buy American made. Especially if it's for a truck.

Have a pain in the A-- XD9 subcompact...tried everything from wheeler to Amazon universal pushers, etc..and only one that makes it a 5-10min job for BOTH front and rear sights is a pusher from sight-tool.com...got it on ebay for like $40, thank the lord for that pusher (and im not religious)

thanks for the heads up...that's what I keep hearing is they're hard as hell to remove/replace...I'll check that tool out...

at the moment yes, I only have 1 EDC...I haven't found anything else I like really...I love my Hellcat though!

I tried a 365 when I got my 1st Hellcat last year...I like the feel of the Hellcat really...but I do like the customization options the 365 has...hopefully 1 day the Hellcat will have that...if I ever see a 365 on sale for a great price I'll definitely snatch it up...

2, something about them wasnt right for me. been dying to try a sig p365 for a while now. currently edc my favorite, an xd9 3" subcompact with a hellcat front and rear sight. though changing front sight back to an ameriglo or a night fision soon.

My friend's Hellcat front night sight failed, and they sent him a replacement sight. He paid to had a shop install it though. It also appears that the newer front sights are much dimmer than the one that I have on mine. They are dim enough that I though maybe the ampoule had broken. He got a second replacement, but it was also very dim to me.

So i mentioned this earlier...SA cs said they are Trijicons...regardless after going to range ive had a second opinion...the Trijicon used in SA Hellcats, being dimmer... is way easier to focus on for cleaner/ better target hits...whereas a brighter tritium yellow such such as Ameriglo has me kind of distracted with how bright it is during day and it does seems slightly bigger too....so my shot group is not a s clean. maybe its just me. Just wish SA Trijicon front sights for hellxat were brighter in the dark or significant low light..thats where it matters...most likely going to mill my xd9 sc slide for a red dot which is safer than relying just on night sights. Thinking 509T, or EPS. or 508T.
