Hellcat Magazine Question

Critter

Alpha
New member here. Just received a Hellcat, love it, and was looking at acquiring some extra 13/rd magazines. I see online offerings of "natural finish" mags that appear to have only the feed portion/top of the mag polished. These are considerably less expensive. Don't really care how they look, just that they work, but I find nothing online that even shows them as a different part number. Can anyone here enlighten me. TIA

Not sure if this helps but gunmag warehouse has these oem mags available.

I haven't heard of the natural finish mags. My Hellcat has run flawlessly with the OEM magazines. I'd recommend sticking with the Springfield mags if at all possible. Quite a few sites have them in stock. You can find a list of sellers with the 13-round mags at: https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/706397931247

These appear to be factory mags. That's why I was interested. I don't know if the rules allow, but I guess the mods can delete if not. See:

The ones listed on GrabAGun are Springfield mags, and have the same UPC as the ones in the gun.deals link. I have had good experiences with GrabAGun. Their prices on mags can be a little high, but their shipping is usually low. The mags are each $7 cheaper at LockedLoaded.com, which may not charge sales tax depending on which state you live in, but shipping is $9 more. You can decide which is a better deal based on how many mags you're planning to buy.

Cheaper Than Dirt has a horrible reputation and is currently being sued by the Texas Attorney General for price gouging and deceptive advertising. I avoid doing business with them as a matter of principle.
