Hey! So I just started carrying the RMSc this week. I traded my black hellcat/SMSc combo for a FDE hellcat that had the Romeo zero on it. But obviously since the RMSc was lonely I popped it on there.
I loved the SMSc - it’s a great little sight works perfectly and the clarity of the lens is great!
I had no problems and EDC’d it for the last, idk 6-8 month ? What’s funny is the RMSc already shows some wear on the edge that touches my belt buckle where the polymer frame wasn’t affected bc it wasn’t metal on metal.
I messed the lens of the SMSc up a little by using a glass cleaner. Don’t use anything but a lens cloth btw. But it didn’t affect the functionality of the sight. In fact the guy I traded didn’t even notice. I told him though but he still couldn’t see what I was talking about.
Honestly the only difference to me is the aesthetics. The rails and black gloss vs polymer.
I wouldn’t return it for the RMSc. If anything order the RMSc as a backup or for your second hellcat
