The thing I like is the volume of mounting options the SLX comes with. Plus, it looks cools as hell. And, of course the etched reticle fantastically clear and works whether it’s on or off. You truly don’t need BUIS. I got the 3X magnifier to go with one of my SLXs and it is really nice and super clear. Twice as expensive as a Romeo 5, but more than worth it. I can’t wait until they figure out how to do an etched reticle on a pistol optic.
I already have the 3x magnifier and will be swapping this out with the R5 that sits on it now.
