First of all I am surprised the "optic" stayed on the gun at all. My 5" Prodigy will not hold on to an optic for more than 150 rounds from day one. SA and I have entered a relationship of sending the firearm (and I use that term loosely), back and forth to one and other. I am struggling with why someone would put aside a top of the line compitition Trijicon SRO for an unproven Hex Dragonfly. The Prodigy itself is an unpredictable, less than acceptable pistol. The SA AOS system has serious flaws. I own several SA 1911 45 acp handguns and they have run like a scalded dog out of the box. Perhaps the rush to enter the 1911 double stack market called for a few shortcuts. I have even more concern for those currently buy the new AOS lineup pistols as they use the same plates and screws. I have since replaced my Prodigy with a much more proven option. It seams that you ( and many others ) are learning the same lesson that I did. Sorry for your trouble with the Prodigy friend but they are just the beginning. Wait until it starts to dump two or more rounds with each trigger pull like mine does. Disclamer.. My 5" Prodigy is completely stock with the exception of EGW flgr and Dawson magwell and SRO.
