Hex Dragonfly problem

I have a XDM-Elite for which i bought a Hex Dragonfly sight. Problem is it doesn't match up to the mounting holes on my pistol. This is the same one that the pistol comes with so I can't figure what the deal is. Any suggestions or ideas?

I too just recently bought an XDM Elite and you need to email springfield for a free OSP plate. They offer three different plates which are designed to fit most red dot optics. You should have gotten a little print out in your box explaining how to get your plate. If not, you can google; springfield armory free osp plate and you should find the link to order your plate.

I would opt for whatever plate fits the trijicon or Leupold or Holosun. Then return the Hex and buy a 507C.

OK. I ordered the mounting plate. I guess we will see if it works. Not sure. Never had a sight like this before.

I'm new to red dots on pistols, too. I just bought a Holosun 507 and presently waiting for it to arrive. Sprinfield just emailed me that I can expect delivery of my mounting plate in 6-8 weeks. Geez!

Mine wasn't free, I had to pay $32. I didn't like the Dragonfly, so I got a Vortex Viper. It has the same footprint as the Dragonfly. I do like it.
