A VP9 won't fit in it ?



It is a damn nice holster even if it is ridiculously expensive.
 
Fun, very nice holster indeed. But if I was going to try a shoulder holster it would have to be one like this.

FWIW John McClane was not traveling on official business therefore he could not have legally gotten his Berretta on an airplane. He also would not have been covered under LEOSA which I don't think existed in 1988 anyway to carry in California.

In the book that the movie was taken from Nothing Lasts Forever, the McLean character, who was named Leland in the book, was a security consultant for the airline and was there for authorized to carry a firearm on the flight. He was also carrying a BHP instead of a Beretta.

NYPD never issued Berettas, in 1988 McLane would have been carrying a Glock 17 or possibly a S&W 5906.

Having said all that, it is not Christmas until I see Hans Gruber falling from Nakatomi Plaza.
