Holosun AEMS (Green) - new to me

Just joined the forum because of this thread. I am also suffering the same weak screw issue and would like to find a better quality replacement.

Is it right to choose M4? What length should I choose for the screw? Anyone who bought a working one from McMaster please advise.View attachment 64548

I bought some screws from MC that I thought would work but they did not. Holosun sent me more screws and a new mount and I finally got it mounted but too late to return when I noticed how bad the unit blooms.

Torx screws are great. But there are metric and standard bits. Holosun stuff is metric, I think. Neiko makes some nice enough ones that are only about ten bucks for the set.

It dawns on me to mention that you almost have to use a torque wrench to install scopes and sights. They take a lot less torque than most people think (usually around 18 inch-pounds) and if you make them too tight they'll break later.

Holosuns are mostly 12-15 inch lbs. adaptor plates are usually 18-20
