I am in complete agreement with the methodology and conclusion, but I'll probably still pay myself on the back for a decent 3-shot group.

I think people get caught up in the 3 shot group, as in their mind, it expends the least amount of ammo. Particularly if they only have one box of ammo for that rifle.

thats not my method, but I hear the logic all day at a rifle range
