I blame y'all.

Brits are not Europeans, thank you very much. But then again, neither are Turks, that was an Obama "idea". In other words, it's hopeless 🤣😂🤣😅
Yeah I know. That's why I put Brit/European. Because while plenty of them like to think they are European they are not. They still all seem to have that Cosmopolitan ( for lack of a better word) attitude which I can only assume comes from being able to drive through 4 or 5 different countries in a single day.

And part of Turkey is European. At least half of Constantinople / Istanbul. Nevertheless, you can drive there from London.

I've seen a picture of you. You definitely don't look like a cop.

I still can't believe you not only bought, but bragged about a Turkish firearm. Must be the whole Brit/European " We are all one, no borders " crap they infuse you guys with at birth.;)
We don’t like Turkish guns, but we’ve got no problems Sigs and HKs. If anyone deserves to be persona non grata it’s those sonsabitches.

Btw, I also had my Century MP5 with me. When I left the range smelled like lamb shish kebab.

I can't believe you're comparing a Canik to an HK.

You the one with the Sig fetish brocephus. :)

Besides, I have explained my problem with Turkish firearms here before. It has nothing to do with Turkey as a country and everything to do with my ( possibly irrational) extreme distrust of Turkish weapons based on the handful of times I have handled Turkish shotguns. Which every single time without fail resulted in failures of one kind or other.

It's like reloaded ammo for semi auto handguns. Plenty of guys do it and have no issues. The very first time I shot reloads through a SA handgun I got a squib in my barrel. Years later and against my better judgement I tried it again. And I got a Walther Q5 that was locked up so tight I had to break out tools to get it open. So, never again I say.

Not a Wally-Worl shopper, but I agree with you: $85 jeans at 5.11, $68 long sleeve shirts isn't what I would call "not too stressfull on the wallet"
Look at some of the stuff Viktos sells. And if you read reviews these pants ( which range from $60-$90 per pair depending on the specific type) generally last a decade or longer even under hard use. Hell, a pair of blue jeans ( anywhere but WalMart) cost $50 or more. I think I'm going to get a pair of 5.11 Apex pants.
That said, and let me preface this by saying I hate WalMart with the intensity of 1000 suns, I bought 4 pairs of Wrangler stretch cargos for $24 a piece. They aren't as durable feeling nor do they have nearly the amount of pockets, but they look 1000 times less tactical ( because they are) and work much better for IWB conceal carry without every other gun guy in the world knowing you are carrying.

Funny anecdote about my trip to the 5.11 store yesterday. I was carrying a VP9 OWB under a large, unbuttoned, denim shirt. As soon as I walked in the door the young man who was stocking a shelf glanced at me and immediately looked at my 3:00. I was wearing blue jeans. Of course it was about 60 degrees and I may have looked slightly out of place with the large long sleeved shirt on, but the fact is I would have noticed my gun if I was him too.

for that $85 jeans alone, i can get 4 pairs of Dickies work pants, that look like dress pants.

for the $68 1 shirt, i can get up to 5 Wrangler or Dickies shirts.

durable for me, as i don't really "work" as if i was trucking, or turning wrenches anymore.

on SS and a small retirement plan, i cannot waste money.

Viktos is definitely on the same boat in my opinion... I am with you on quality vs. quantity, and I share your hatred of Walmart, but at the same time do I want to wear the same pants for 10 years? The way I use/abuse mine, 10 years would be more than patina, it'll be hobo-level dereliction

I do get $20-$25 jeans (Wrangler) on Amazon and cargo type pants at Tractor Supply Co, last one was a score $9 (nothing wrong with them, they needed to get rid of their stock)!

$60 on Amazon isn't bad actually for the 5.11 pants, I agree.
