For years I’ve been thinking about buying a handgun in 22 WMR but just couldn’t bring myself to buy another gun, until yesterday. I was looking at Bass Pro Shops online for fishing equipment and somehow my computer screen jumped into the online gun section. I don’t know how that happened, probably a computer glitch. They had a Heritage Rough Rider in 6 ½ inch length that came with both the 22LR and 22 WMR cylinders with a price of $129. I couldn’t resist pulling the trigger on that price. It’s a cheap gun but it seems a lot of people really like this brand of revolver. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to shoot it tomorrow. I can't decide if I like the stars and stripes grip.

I bought one years ago and it has always worked. I really wanted a Ruger but didn't want the Ruger price. I use it maybe once a year but in all fairness I am just not a revolver person.

You are right about that. When I switched the cylinder to 22 Mag I had issues. 2 of the chambers wouldn't eject the case no matter how hard I tried. I had to use a needle nose pliers to pull the case from the chamber. I called Heritage customer service and they sent me a new and properly functioning 22 Mag cylinder free of any charges. They also didn't want the old cylinder back. I'm impressed with Heritage Firearms.
