we have family on that side of the state, (Port Charlotte) but we cannot reach them.

so we have to sit and wait it out as well.

We are getting some much needed rain from the outer bands but the brunt of the storm is missing us in the western panhandle. I have family in the Tampa area who have evacuated

yeah, the husband has bee hives, and they brought us 4- quart Balls jars full of it, of different flavors.

i'm killing mine (slowly) with a cup of hot tea a couple nights each week.

I have family in Winter Park and The Villages, and its looks like they're gonna get some. I have close friends further south in Ft. Meyers...and more family in Panama City Beach. They should be fine. I've been watching it progress and it looks pretty nasty. Hope everything works out for you @javbike. Stay safe.

Well the latest we have a flight out Wednesday 200 pm to charlotte then charlotte to San Francisco we will see if it get canceled wish us luck
