Peaceful and well mannered, we would not need prisons, police, a military, firearms(except for hunting) or laws and a Constitution.
We need all of those things.
Which says mankind is not peaceful or kind as a whole.
Since you need all of the above, that tells you that you need a defense against all of the above.

Rules go against being peaceful. If everyone was nice, rules would not be needed.
The fact there are 10 commandments tells you all you need to know.

Good will always fight evil
Evil will always be there

… and Buicks will always be Homely

Mankind is inherently violent. Ironically the best way to avoid violence is to be really good at it.

Just giving you a hard time Mr Obvious…..😬🤪

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are very near the end of civilization." That used to be a standard David Letterman punchline, delivered after reading some outrageous or weird news item of the day. Now, sadly, it's just true.
This should be the tagline for the statement:
“ you know you have become your parents when…”….

I think every dad has said this since the beginning of time

I lost my Dad in 2018. I've missed him every single day since. Wish I'd spent more time with him. Ain't it always the way?

I see now that my Dad was a great man, and today I'd be proud to "become" him. (Suddenly I feel like writing a country music song, or something.)

Mankind “humans” are the most violent and unpredictable animals on earth.

Older Buicks were the best, I wish I had kept my 1969 Buick Centurion 455 cubic inch monster motor. It was a 2 door model and I swear the doors were bigger and heavier then Toyotas.
