If society was …

I lost my Dad in 2018. I've missed him every single day since. Wish I'd spent more time with him. Ain't it always the way?

I see now that my Dad was a great man, and today I'd be proud to "become" him. (Suddenly I feel like writing a country music song, or something.)
Kind of like Snake said, becoming my Dad would, for me, be a good thing. He was a great man!

MY Dad would say actual Good Stuff, such as:

"You learn something new every day if you're not careful." (After I'd just made some horribly expensive and/or embarrassing mistake.)

Or...

"Once again, Skill and Cunning beat Ignorance and Superstition." (After beating me at Hearts yet again, eventually turning me into The Second Best Hearts Player in the World. Hey, since he's gone now, I guess I'm #1.) ;)

Jordan Peterson says "“If you’re not a formidable force, there’s no morality in your self-control. If you’re incapable of violence, not being violent isn’t a virtue."
"you should be capable of it. But that doesn’t mean you should use it,”
What is good enough for the us military is good enough for me, then again they taught me everything i know on that subject.

My dad said things like this:

" I brought you into the world, I can take you out"
