In Yer Face !

Although I’ve suffered from very very mild tinnitus for many years the affect of the sinus infection I got from Covid was an 85% hearing loss in both ears for nearly a month until tubes were inserted in my ear drums to drain fluid.
The tubes are out and I still suffer from fluid in my ears daily.
I’ve had it for years as well. Decades of standing in front of a full stack bass rig.

Don’t misunderstand me. I’m fully aware that C19 is a real and serious virus. I know a 32 year old healthy woman who died during the first wave. The fact is they knew very little about the virus when they began pushing the vaccine though. Kinda like the anti- gun people reacting to school shootings. “ We gotta do something even if it doesn’t work”. Unfortunately it didn’t work and subsequently tanked the economy, ran many smaller companies out of business and successfully doubled the price of nearly every single consumer product in existence. None of which matters to Joe and them. The only thing that matters is it opened the door to take down Orangey. Mail in voting should be illegal under all but military deployment situations and they used the plandemic to normalize it. I’m reasonably certain we will never know the true scope of election fraud that took place in 2020 because it’s nearly impossible to accurately audit all the mail in ballots.

This is one subject I added to the list of not discussing. Both sides are passionate about thier opinion, both sides claim scientific "proof" and I find no matter what is said neither side will ever change thier opinion or leave room for the middle ground where truth usually resides.

So, it's better for me to simply say nothing anymore. Enjoy...

I don't claim any scientific proof. I think most "scientific proof" is dubious these days anyway. Particularly with this topic. And climate change. When scientists only get grant money if they come up with specific outcomes the whole barrel of apples is bad IMO.

How else can you explain the often repeated claim that man made climate change is "Settled science" and that the overwhelming majority of scientists agree, but if you look, there are actually thousands and thousands of scientists who say those people are full of :poop: , fudging numbers, using manipulated data and getting paid to run a scam ?

Ok, nice weather we are having.
Yeah , freakin fantastic weather !!

Admittedly I know very little about Djokovic other than he’s a great player. His return game is reminiscent of Andre Agassi. I can say that his speech during the trophy presentation yesterday was quite gracious. And he thanked everyone and apologized for them having to deal with him, calling himself “ Difficult”. So he knows he’s a pain in the ass.

He was also highly complimentary to Casper Ruud. Ruud is a class act. His demeanor is very low key and non argumentative. McEnroe was announcing and suggested that even though it is not in his nature he should probably ramp up his “Excitability “ to get the crowd back behind him. The dude has a monster serve I’ll tell you that. Sampras level. He had a lot of unforced errors though and clearly was deflated when after being up 4-1 in the first set he lost it to Djokovic who blew him out 7-1 in the first set tie break.
My comment on his arrogance stands since reported on the news this morning ND already had a jacket made with 23 on it and wore it during the award ceremony. It would have been funny if he had lost, than what would he have done with the jacket. 😂😂😂

Yeah they commented on that during the ceremony. Kind of a stretch to say it’s arrogant though. Have you seen his record against Ruud ? He has never dropped a set against him. And it is a historical event. And the jacket was like $100. Every US major sports championship there are “Champions” paraphernalia already made up for each team before the game is even played.

Besides, like I said the odds of him dropping a set to Ruud were long. The odds of him losing the match were astronomical.

Yeah , freakin fantastic weather !!

Ouch, those do hurt. Seen many cars while I worked my way thru college in the body shop with hail damage.

So many people thought it was better to drive thru the hail to get under cover faster than to sit it out in the open. Wrong... the worst ones drove thru it, most ended up looking like a golf ball, or like they were attacked by a madman with a ball peen hammer. Seen many nice cars like Mercedes-Benzs have a gallon or better of filler on them for repairs. Yeah, that's what the insurance companies will approve most often... or at least did 40 odd years ago.

As an aside, I actually saw the end results of a madwoman attacking a car with a ball peen hammer.

Lady found hubby in bed with a guy and proceeded to beat his 67 Camaro Rs with a hammer. Was rather impressive what a 5.2 inch woman can accomplish

Now, the body shops can pop out the smaller ones and large ones just get a mew body panel.

Thry could then to but most insurance would not pay for new panels most often unless you fought them tooth and nail . Even popping them out generally needs filler to smooth the metal out, the best way was to use lead instead of filler. But thats a lost art these days, esoecislly since the hest would warp todays thinner metal. I learned it, think I still have the tools to do it somewhere. Of course it's probably been 20 years since I did even any hobby body work so things have changed a lot.

A ton has changed
I watched them work on my truck.
Zero filler
Used little pin punches tapped on with a rubber mallet and a giant suction cup like device.
