Is it time for national carry?

Don't get me wrong, current administration was and is terrible towards its veterans. I just don't agree with some of you who say he's going to help. This country has a history of putting its veterans under the bus so to speak. Also, veterans need to not rely on government helping them. Just because you served doesn't give you a free ride, remember you volunteered and for the most part were aware of the consequences military service could incur on individuals.
Trump got the VA accountability act passed and fired some VA deadwood but I heard Biden brought some back with back pay

Maybe I just see the good in people, but I think Mr. T approved the bump stock ban because it was such a flagrant violation it would end up in the Supreme Court. If the Court took the case, they would have HAD to overturn it because it was clearly unconstitutional. So Mr. T could get a pro gun decision to help dismantle the unconstitutional laws when he could not get a law passed to attack the same problem. The Court double crossed him at the time and didn't fast track it. That is my take anyway, because that is how I would have played it because of the swampy "Republicans" would not face the problem head on.

If I understand the full Faith and Credit Clause of the Constitution (Section 1 Article 5) correctly(and it's highly likely that I don't), it's not a question of the President signing a bill into law.

It would be a question of somebody suing to have their permit recognized in a state where it's not recognized and then taking it all the way to the Supreme Court.

As others have said I don't think that Trump is the Second Amendment supporter that some of you seem to think he is.

Even if Trump did sign a bill into law making everybody's permit valid anywhere in the Continental United States sooner or later the pendulum is going to swing back the other way and then the Democrats are going to repeal that law and then nobody will have a permit.

That is why we need to VOTE! Let them know we are single issue voters. There are more of us freedom people than gun grabbers. They need to know if the cross us, they will have to get a real job at the next election. Most of them are not equipped to do that. They are on the Gravy Train With Biscuit Wheels and they know it. If they know we will throw them out of office if they are not 1000 percent behind the Second Amendment....they will listen.

We won this election...but if every gun owner would VOTE we would win every election.

One thing to burst your bubble. Not all gun owners are republicans and of those who are of the opposing party , won't cross the party line.

If you guys think we're going to see Republican unity you're crazy. I do think national reciprocity is a possibility, but I don't think any pro gun legislation is going to be a priority that a "veto proof" majority of republicans are going to get behind.
Unity will get closer once McConnell goes away!

Make no mistake. Trump only cares about Trump. If it suits his purposes, he'll stab us in the back in a heartbeat. 🤬
pretty much what a local radio show host said...about ALL politicians these days.

in it for themselves, for thier retirement in the Bahamas'.

Some gun owners, like most of my family, are Libertarians, but I am always going to vote for guns. Unrestricted gun ownership which includes any form of carry and every form of self defense of people and property first and foremost.

Calling myself a Libertarian is an announcement of my political philosophy and not a label. While it has been a very long time since I have given money or voted for a Democrat, I have done so. I end up voting Republican most of the time because the Libertarians rarely have a credible candidate that could actually win, and I have given considerable money to Republicans running for office.

Anyone who would not cross a party line to do the right thing is not someone I would enjoy spending much time with today despite the fact I spend years running a company that was paid to help win elections before I retired.

I've seen that video. Actually Walz was unloading the gun and cupping his hand over the ejection port to catch the ejected shells as they came out. Nothing unusual about it at all. Somebody was intentionally trying to make him look bad. Fake news.
Yes, some democrats own guns and even hunt. But they still believe in so-called common sense gun control. Mostly for handguns and evil black rifles.
