You negotiate back and forth until you get something that neither side likes, but can live with.

Flat out refusing to look at anything means republicans would rather have things continue as they are (which, if we believe cuckservative propaganda, is very bad) than do anything to make it better.

That is, by definition, playing politics.

From what I gather, the Dems are trying to make into law a situation that's even worse than what we have now. And the Senate Repukes are willing to go along with it, just to say "We Did SOMETHING!"

I agree. Quote the section(s) of the US Constitution regarding the governments duty to protect the border from foreign invasion. Quote the US Constitution regarding the states rights to protect their borders if the government refuses to.

Quote how many illegals have entered in the last three years under this administration. Quote how many "gotaways" are estimated by CBP in addition to that number. Quote how many on the terrorist watch list have been apprehended. Quote how many illegals have been involved in crimes once they invaded the USA. Quote the increasing cost to American tax payers to pay for the invasion.

Illustrate how obiden and mayorkas have ignored their US Constitutional duties, refuse to change their illegal policies and deserve to be removed from office.

It’s really not. I’d like to know what the magic number is. I mean how many terrorists is acceptable to the White House to let just stroll on into the country?

Did you know that in 2019 there were around 400,000 asylum cases ? 2023 that number is over 3 million. Those numbers came from the former head of the border patrol who came in under Clinton.

I saw a video today of border patrol agents literally holding a gate open for illegals to cross over. And I’m not even touching on the cartels smuggling in the Arizona mountains which is routinely ignored.

It’s beyond incompetence. It’s being done on purpose.

How can you negotiate a number of likely terrorists that’s acceptable ? You don’t really believe it’s just S. American migrants coming in through the southern border do you ? Negotiate? Please. That tells you everything right there doesn’t it ? Democrats are perfectly ok with it how it is. If they weren’t there would be no need for negotiation.

Hans, with all due respect, reforming the immigration system and securing the southern border are not mutually exclusive. They are two completely different programs. Nor is securing the southern border and more billions for Ukraine. It wasn't perfect, but the southern border was far more secure 3 yrs ago than today. How did that work so much better then than it is today, having the exact same laws and 'power' and all ... I wonder?

And as for the "You negotiate back and forth until you get something that neither side likes, but can live with" ... seems to me that it should work both ways, right? Are you suggesting the "cuckservative" propaganda is the only propaganda we're hearing?

Doesn't "Flat out refusing to look at anything" pretty much describe both sides? Or only the side that one disagrees with? It's always "playing politics", just sometimes the play is a little more for the better of the country than other times.

They literally have the capability of being a self-sustaining Financial System within their own state. If these new trade deals are successful and Texas begins to move into the new Digital Asset Based Trading System utilizing the UPI or Unified Payment Interface mechanism in trade, we will literally be witnessing the first state in the US to move into our new Global Economy. Maybe, just maybe Texas with all its abundant resources of everything to be a sovereign state and could succeed from the US?
Would it be possible even if remote, this could be a way to help take down the deep state?
