Is this acceptable for a new S&W M&P Sport II?

This is my second warranty replacement firearm, and RMA #4 with S&W so far. This originated from an out-of-spec BCG from my original purchase back in July. The first replacement firearm came back with the barrel pitted. Is this acceptable for a new S&W M&P Sport II? Or should I RMA this one and play the lottery again? I have not fired it yet but it looks like the castle nut stake is poorly done.

Can't say, your call OP. But my 3rd Hellcat has a poorly machined slide. I won't be buying any more Hellcats. Who knows what is different inside. The 2 Hellcats I bought a few years ago are perfect.

I had problems with a Glock .380 made in the USA. I sent it back to Glock. When it came back it was worse than before. Dumped it.

A little Ruger .327 snub had a trigger that jammed, new out of the box. A revolver with a trigger that jams! How messed up is that. Had to send it back.

Everything is going to hell now. I'm glad most of my ammo is pre-covid era.

I could be wrong but i think all these firearm companies are manufacturing these guns so fast to keep up with the demand they are neglecting a lot of the Quality control that used to be. same with ammo a while back as more and more bad ammo was seen during the panic time.

Either that or the people they hire don't give a crap about the quality of their work. More than likely a combination of both. i know companies here are finding people to hire. and when they hire someone they don't want to do anything but draw a paycheck.

When it comes to hit and miss on quality it's sad for those who got the miss. Trying to quash post about truthfulness on their (purchasers) issues with said firearm for getting ahead of sales. I having the m&p 10mm without issues, but others do. I wanted an x-ten, but with potential issue standing has me holding off on purchase.

See my thing is if I originally purchased a blemished/damaged item then that's on me but I inspected my original rifle from the store and it was in perfect condition so I went ahead with the purchase. The only problem was the out of spec BCG where it was chipping at the spot where the hammer was hitting it, this was only visible after firing a couple hundred rounds, then this mess happens. I know for a fact that there has to be acceptable quality M&P Sport IIs lying around as I went to a gun store the other day and saw one in acceptable condition, I think these guys are either just giving me a hard time or don't care enough. At least they are sending me replacements, hopefully the third time is the charm. I just hope they don't claim I damaged it when it is clear that I did not. First and last S&W purchase for me though, lesson learned.

Odd, I had an excellent customer service experience with Glock before. Did you try sending it back a second time? Or did you cut your losses. I am sure that they would make it right.
