I went to pick up some stuff for the 110 Elite Precision and lo and behold this beauty was waiting for me. X-bolt Max Long Range in .300 Win Mag with a 20 MOA rail and a Nikon fx1000 4x-16x I had left in the closet. I also grabbed up some 4350, dies and shell holder, and 5 boxes of ammunition to get it broken in then reload with some serious stuff.
It followed me home...

This one was not accident. Savage 110 Elite Precision in .338LM. I wish I could say I bought a grip of ammunition to test in it but that ish is crazy expensive. This will definitely make handloading economical. Also, from L to R, .30-06, .300 Win Mag, and .338LM. I can't wait to see what this bugger can do.

Nice rifle!
Of all the rifles I've shot over my lifetime, I have never been fortunate enough to have shot a 300 Win Mag. I've heard all my life how flat they shoot and they hit very hard at distance. I'd very much like to get the opportunity to try one out someday.
