It’s a bird…..no it’s a plane….no it’s the Joro spider……

It's really not all that funny when you think about it ... our legal world wide travels and shipping along with the intentional illegal transport of non-natives for profit are always going to be a threat to our country when a non-native species arrives here. Think Pythons in the Everglades, feral pigs almost everywhere across the country now, Killer Bees and Murder Hornets, and now Jaro spiders. And it's not limited to just animals and insects, but non-native vegetation. And no matter how hard we try, we'll never prevent all of them. Once they get here, not only do they typically not have any natural predators, but the climate and other resources needed by the invasive species are all here for them in quantity.
