It’s a Rage……..

We have to wait 30 days to purchase another one . I got called on it last year I was like 4 days out and they called and said I was denied and had to paid for the background check again what a bummer here as you know crazy California we have to wait 10 days before pick up I am jealous when you can walk right out with it

Of course criminals can buy as many as they want out of a car trunk and they don't have to wait even a minute! Only us law abiding folks get inconvenienced.

When I lived in Texas I bought 3 handguns at once at the local Academy, no issues whatsoever.

no limit in my state, as well, as long as, you buy all at the same time, when the NCIC comes in....if i were to cash out, and walk out, then come right back in? then another 4473, and another NCIC check.

once "approved" by the NCIC, you can buy as many as you want, the store just has to use another form to list the additional guns, past the (i think) spaces on the original form?

i only see 3 lines for guns on a 4473....where else they can list additional guns, i am not certain.
 
now, in "sharp contrast", today in fact, i went to my mom & pop gun dealer....

i only wanted to "look at" the RIA GI A1 1911 that he has had for like a month now.....

well........i been "looking" at that 1911 for the past month now......

yeah, you guessed it.........it's my 2nd RIA, i "looked at", at that LGS.....

and however, at that LGS, they do not hand you your gun, even with a ccw....thier policy is to make you wait the 8 days...

i knew that, i have known that..........so does it bother me..??

yes....and.....no

then i went to the "big" LGS, and bought up 8 Nighthawk Custom 1911 magazines, cheaper than the Wilson Combat 500 i been buying, that, and they did not have any W/C for 45 ACP, only for 9mm....

i'd say about $10 cheaper.


so, there you have it, most (if not all times) you LOOK, buy, take home with a ccw.....

other times, you gotta wait......
