Having lived in Illinois I know this for sure. Cook & surrounding counties will "Always" be left.There are not enough votes in the rest of the state to change that. Believe me , it will only get worse

Absolutely agree. 4-5 counties up there have more votes than the entire rest of the state, even if 100% of the downstate voted the opposite. It's RIDICULOUS!

Both Cook, Travis and Dallas counties rule just barely and stay blue. Those 3 counties are mostly the ones that will always be blue.
