I don't think I have looked forward to one of these so much since Reagan. He will set the tone in his speech and unleash Homan. I wonder how many illegals have already run for the border?
That’s ridiculous. You think illegal migrants are not only not a drain on our resources, particularly available housing, but they are responsible for keeping food and housing prices low ? Willful ignorance. We'll see how it goes with food and housing prices if/when all the illegals are gone. It might be a pyrrhic victory, and probably will.
Who do you think is picking crops, and who do you think is building houses? Maybe its different in Minnesota than in Missouri, but during my couple years framing houses it was very often Mexican crews who would roll up, put a roof on a house, and move on. It wasn't a bunch of white guys from St. Louis Park. Regarding farming, I recall Georgia and Alabama giving illegals the boot and the farmers getting socked because they couldn't find workers willing to work for the wages they could afford. I'd say its willful ignorance to think taking millions out of the workforce isn't going to cause some financial hardships. That’s ridiculous. Not nearly enough of them for my taste, I assure you.I wonder how many illegals have already run for the border?
But there illegals, if they want to come here and work, do it the right way then, problem solvedWho do you think is picking crops, and who do you think is building houses? Sad part is, folks born and rasied in the US are also a lot of the ones with their hand out, not working and sucking the Govt teetYes, as with others, I have absolutely nothing against those that are in search of a better life, and all for proper, legal immigration. Citizenship, pay taxes, support your new country, not just suck from the hind tit with your hand out while demanding more and more while depleting resources.
Exactly! Have all kind of excuses for not being able to work. Need to stop paying them!Sad part is, folks born and rasied in the US are also a lot of the ones with their hand out, not working and sucking the Govt teet
Truth. Some of this nation's youth slay me in that respect.Sad part is, folks born and rasied in the US are also a lot of the ones with their hand out, not working and sucking the Govt teet
My guess is Mexicans with green cards. You really think getting rid of the ones that are illegal is going to dramatically decrease available labor for crop picking ? Furthermore the fact that Mexicans are building houses now ought to **** you off. I guarantee they aren't union. I also guarantee you they aren't being paid fair wages. And I assure you without their brilliant house building skills there are still plenty of regular carpenters willing to work. I was a Union carpenter and a contractor for 25 years. If you support cheap immigrant labor turning a skilled trade into menial labor like they've done with roofing and siding you are definitely part of the problem.Who do you think is picking crops, and who do you think is building houses?
